The second volume of an awesome book. If it weren't for Katsuhiro Otomo's interest, I wouldn't be able to enjoy replicating his drawings and animation research, which he created from his own hands for the movie “AKIRA.” The price can be pricey, but it's very cheap for something that comes in full color, including the final acetate duplicate. A publisher would never have risked publishing it. That's a gift for the fans. Highly recommended book!

It's a great reference book for reviewing, with thorough explanations from the anime series. I used to watch anime a lot, and I remember watching the first one when I was little, so I reread this and watched the new one. It really reminded me of an old fashioned exchange, and I was able to watch movies easily. A must-have book if you're a fan!

The third and final Layouts and Key Frames collection is the best one. The first two were very nice, but this one is even better. It's just crammed full of drawings and cels from the climax of the movie....which is the best part of course! The reproductions are so meticulously done, you would swear you're holding an original pencil drawing or production cel in your hands. Grab all three, but if you only get one, make it this one!

I've wanted an art book or three added to my library, and this is no less a great purchase. Images are spectacular, offering wonderful color & detail; worth every penny spent. One nitpick: because box is made of cardboard, removing tape (seal) can cause unwanted damage; due to its decorative nature, doing so is ill-advised. Book containing illustrations is stored inside a black envelope however, which sits inside aforementioned box, so any damage incurred will appear on outer shell, not the inner workings.

Each page was so beautiful, great for fans of Mushishi. I really like that we can see beyond the cutoff of what is already on the volume covers

I absolutely loved this artbook. I've never seen so many images from the series gathered in one place — and almost all in color! It's a must-have for any Yamato fan. The packaging was excellent too, keeping the book perfectly protected. Highly recommended!

Great collection of works by the author. High quality color prints. The author shows the creative process behind multiple works throughout the book as well, which was nice to see!

This is a colossal work! I believe it contains all of Sensei Asamiya's works. The quality of the printing and paper are exceptional, and the number of color pages is impressive, almost 300. This artbook will satisfy even the most demanding fan.

There was a big poster in it, and when I thought it was crazy, there was another one at the end. I'm collecting posters, so I'm thankful for that. The art book is all in color, up to about 213 pages. Illustrations of Gaiden are also included. I don't use text or black and white to earn pages, so I think it's impressive enough. Recently, every art book has few pages but is expensive, and I'm satisfied with the content, but I don't know if it's worth the price, but I don't think there's any need to worry. For the first time in a long time, I came across an art book that was impressive and I was more than satisfied with the price.

I was taken with them to buy it, and I am glad I bought it. I have a lot of sympathies with the artist way of drawing warm characters. If you look only at the eyes, there is an image that the characters are the same even if they are different, but it may be fair to say that they are unique characters and personalities. Gundam characters are somewhat unique, but maybe it is only with Mr. Yasuhiko pictures that they look like ideal images. Every picture is fascinating, and you'll want to keep looking at Yasuhiko Yoshikazu forever.

I have bought both WATER and Sumi and before I received them, I did not expect a lot because I know it is a collection from comics drawings during Vagabond was ongoing in the past 8 years. However, after I got the actual book in my hand, I know that it is correct to buy both books. The large size of the book with high quality printing and vibrant colors (and the outstanding drawings by Mr. Inoue) have brought life to the characters. My excitment in reading Vagabond has all returned when I flip through the pages recalling the stories. I think all Vagabond fans must buy both books as a collection item. You will not regret it. Even non Vagabond fans can also learn the drawing techniques from Mr. Inoue through these books.

Among the overwhelming majority of works that can only be seen in black and white, such as a single book, you can see everything in watercolor. I have a whole book, but by looking at the watercolor painting, each person and every one of the scenery are revived to life.
