TRIGUN Badlands Rumble

Bullets, one million rounds. A wild feast of gunfire and sandstorms, Badlands Rumble, unfolds in the wastelands. This theatrical feature is an original story in the SF cyber western "Trigun", based on the manga by Yasuhiro Nightow and first released in theaters in April 2010. This Blu ray edition finally brings the regular version, which had not been released at the time of the theatrical run, to fans at an affordable price as a collector item. In a near future on a remote frontier planet covered in rock and desert, people eke out a living under harsh natural conditions, relying on plants, special power generators, as their energy source. Rumors spread that the legendary master thief Gasback is targeting Makka City, a town surrounded by quicksand, and the city boss Kepler gathers roughnecks to protect the town. The town fills up with bounty hunters seeking Gasback's reward, and insurance agents Meryl and Milly, who have come to town for an assessment, are shocked by the situation. Among the crowd they spot the sixty billion double dollar outlaw Vash the Stampede. Terrified by the prospect of destruction and catastrophe, Meryl tries to drive Vash out of town, but as usual he keeps his cool and spends his time flirting with the female bounty hunter Amelia. Just then, Gasback's gang finally appears in town, and for some reason Vash's former partner Nicholas D Wolfwood is with them. As each person pursues their own agenda, the wild feast of the badlands that the outlaws stage now begins.
