This edition is so pretty, I was kinda bummed that there were only three episodes, but I think the quality makes the difference.

Macross: Do You Remember Love? is a true classic of anime, and this new 4K remaster gives the film the treatment it deserves. The image looks beautiful, with a level of detail, color, and clarity that brings the incredible hand-drawn animation back to life while still preserving the original film look. The space battles, mecha, and concert sequences are especially impressive in 4K. It is also great to have both the original 1984 theatrical version and the 2016 complete version included in the release. The soundtrack remains one of the movie’s greatest strengths, perfectly complementing its spectacular visuals and emotional moments. After more than 40 years, Do You Remember Love? still feels remarkably beautiful and ambitious. This 4K edition is a fantastic way to rediscover a legendary anime film and an essential release for any Macross fan or collector of classic animation.
