The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life Blu-ray BOX [Limited Release]

Blu-ray BOX of "The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life" is released! Cumulative circulation has surpassed 1.4 million copies! P.A.WORKS brings this unconventional work from Monthly Shonen Magazine to life with overwhelming quality. A huge viral hit! The another-world fantasy begins! Highly addictive chaotic gag comedy and lines from characters that shake the emotions: "Chi-Fuyo" continues to draw passionate support with its many charms. As original author Asa Rokushima personally says, "*Please note that the content differs by about 99 out of 10 between the novel version and the manga version (sic)", a story beyond all expectations unfolds! Another-world fantasy? No, it does not end there! Adventure, battles, human drama, and gags fuse at high density into a supreme form of entertainment that accelerates even further in the anime! Rein, an enhancement-granting mage, is suddenly expelled from the guild one day. Yet far from despairing, he says "I can do anything now! Right?" and collects the huge amount of enhancement points previously granted to the equipment of the guild members, setting out on a new path as an adventurer. Those who gather around him are a genius adventurer who shut off their heart after all their companions were slaughtered, a warrior whose family was taken away, and an assassin raised to be a killer. All of them bear wounds that do not easily fade. Even so, Rein accepts them all, honestly and cheerfully, without denying their pasts or their wounds. The setting is an unconventional fantasy world where even Uzi submachine guns, pachinko, and yakuza exist. In this world, however, the more one relies on convenient science and technology, the lower one's magical power falls, and adventurers become weaker. Vicious intelligent monsters run rampant, and in the underworld, outlaws weave schemes and plots while baring their desires and ambitions. In a world where ideals and justice are easily trampled, adventurers fight with nothing but their own magical power and convictions as weapons. This is a story of those who lost their place in the world, and who seize their own way of life. The outrageous and carefree second life of Rein and his companions begins now. [Included bonuses] Chi-Fuyo Kaitai Shinsho (50 pages) featuring main cast members talking about the charm of the Chi-Fuyo characters, people involved explaining what "Chi-Fuyo" really is, an exclusive interview with Gyomuyomochi, and a manga newly drawn by Gyomuyomochi. [Audio bonuses] Audio commentary for Episode 6 with Daiki Yamashita, Lynn, and Yoshino Aoyama, and for Episode 12 with Shu Honma (director), Mitsuhito Tsuji (animation producer), and Eri Mitarai (producer). [Video bonuses] PV collection, CM collection, and non-credit opening and ending. [Exterior bonuses] Box with a newly drawn illustration by character designer Yuito Kiyosawa, and jacket with a newly drawn illustration by gag and sub-character designer Masami Gohda.
