VERSAILLES do not fail as composers. Each song is just as well-written as the other... because they all sound exactly alike. After weeks of listening to this album, I still confuse the songs; if not for the lyrics, I would have no idea at all what I was listening to. I even have trouble telling where one track ends and another begins. Fans will not be disappointed by this album if they're looking for the same great work as expected from the band; However, the lack of musical growth and variety is below expectations for such a talented group. Though the new album NOBLE is nothing new for VERSAILLES, there is a great amount of potenial in the band, and intend to continue following them. More than anything else, NOBLE is a minor setback for VERSAILLES, and hopefully one that will be followed by another amazing release in the future.

Versailles' first full length release promises much but sadly leaves a lot to be desired. While listening the album for the first time I did not realize I was listening my all time favourite "Revenant Choir" until the song was half way through. What was that all about? Everything else sounds pretty much the same as well; a common problem with many new releases these days. The album is too long and gets tiring with every song sounding like the one before. Visuals are great as always with Versailles but music has taken a step to a wrong direction after the astonishing Lyrical Sympathy.
