Description

"Varanoir" started out simultaneously as a PlayStation 2 game, a trading cards series, and a Manga series from a major publisher. The comedy anime series is based on the same premise as the game, with its heroines training hard to become eligible for the "Yusha Ikusei Gakubu" (undergraduate educational program for hero training) of a college. Myu is a 13-year-old girl who joins the group of rivaling girls. Also available on VHS.

「ヴァラノワール」とは? 2002年10月、プレイステーション2用ゲームソフトがアイディアファクトリー社から発売され、同時にトレーディングカードの第一人者である株式会社ティーアイ東京からそのトレカが、そして「西遊記」連載中のコミック月刊誌「ゼロサム」からはコミックが、更にある有名文庫が文庫の出版までが計画されているメディアミックス・コンテンツが、今、ゲーム・アニメ業界で話題沸騰中の「学園都市ヴァラノワール」。物語の舞台はゲーム版と同じく、学園都市ヴァラノワールの中等科。「勇者育成学部」への進学を目指して、日々厳しい鍛錬に励む(?)うら若き乙女達。突如そこに編入することになった13才の少女ミュウが、希望を胸に足を踏み入れたそのヴァラノワールはなんと、周りにいる全ての生徒が自分のライバルという過酷な世界だった・・・。華麗なる(?)ハチャメチャ学園コメディ・アニメーション!
