The bonus video footage such as "Komachi Dayori," "Okara Observation," and "Non-Credit OP/ED" are also included in HD quality. Comes in a special outer case featuring illustrations by Takuhito Kusanagi, character designer. Special booklet (re-edited for this product) is enclosed. In addition to the STEREO version (linear PCM), the 5.1ch surround sound version (Dolby TrueHD) can also be selected for playback. *The content is the same as the FFXA-9002 released on August 5, 2015.

アニメ化20周年記念! 巨匠・黒澤明監督による原作「七人の侍」の公開50周年企画として2004年に制作されたアニメ「SAMURAI7」がBlu-ray BOXで登場! アニメスタジオGONZOにより、当時としては異例のフルデジタルHD画質&5.1chサラウンドというハイスペック・フォーマットで制作され、現在の主流であるハイビジョンデジタルアニメの先駆的作品となった。アニメーション化にあたっては、原作の持つ魅力的な世界感や登場人物を踏まえつつ、機械化文明の恩恵を受けた舞台設定などのSF要素を加味した再構築がなされている。農民に"米"で雇われたカンベエら7人のサムライと、巨大な機械侍"野伏せり"との戦いはアニメならではの見どころ。今回のBlu-rayでは、本来のオリジナルマスターと同じHD画質&5.1ch音声でTVシリーズ全26話を収録するほか、DVD映像特典の「コマチだより」「オカラ観察記」「ノンクレジットOP・ED」等もHD画質で収録。キャラクターデザイン・草なぎ琢仁氏描き下ろしイラストを使用した特製アウターケース仕様。特製ブックレット (本パッケージ用に再編集) 封入。※本編音声はSTEREO版 (リニアPCM) に加え、5.1chサラウンド版 (ドルビーTrueHD) も再生選択可能! ※映像の収録内容は2015年8月5日発売のFFXA-9002と同じものになります。
