This is a really sweet and funny story. It may be bit childish but that's what fantasy story should be. The fighting scenes are nothing like those you find in action movies but they adds humor to the whole story and the essence of this movie.

well when I first herd about this movie it was still in theaturs. I watched a bunch of trailer and though.."I have to see this" when the DVD arrived I watched it. this movie is one of the best movies I have evr seen. You dont have to like anie to like brave story. It's exciting, sad and all out interesting. The entire time I watched this movie I couldnt move my eyes from the screen. I highly reccomend it to those looking for a good movie. And the theme song is great too! Which makes it even better!
Brave Story is an exellent anime. It's a story of a boy who gains courage and learns selflessness in another reality. It has great buddhist ethics in it. I highly recomend this movie. It's one of the best I've ever seen. The animation is beautiful and the music is great too. Also it has English subs, so if your a fellow American like me, why wait a year for a region 1 release. Buy it now and enjoy.
