Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Spooky! My Yokai Vacation

A mysterious summer adventure begins when the Nohara family meets a lively group of yokai! The 33rd "Crayon Shin-chan" movie opened at Toho-affiliated theaters nationwide on July 31 and set a new all-time box-office record for the series. It is the first "Crayon Shin-chan" movie to feature yokai as its theme. Guest voices bringing even more excitement to the movie include actress Sairi Ito and the hugely popular comedy duo MAYURIKA. The theme song is TOMOO's "Otona ni Nattara". One summer day, strange supernatural phenomena are reported one after another across Japan and become the talk of the nation. Meanwhile, the Nohara family prepares to travel to Akita Prefecture to visit Hiroshi's family home. As they get ready, a suspicious figure secretly watches from the shadows in the garden while Shinnosuke cheerfully plays at being a yokai. Looking forward to their first visit home in some time and a fireworks festival, the Nohara family enjoys a peaceful time at Grandpa Ginnosuke's house. However, an inexplicable incident occurs the morning after they arrive in Akita. Flyers for Obake-shon Village have been scattered all over the room where Shinnosuke and his family are staying. Thrilled by the flyer proclaiming "All-you-can-eat Chocobi!", Shinnosuke asks to go, and the whole Nohara family sets out for Obake-shon Village. Watching the changing scenery of Akita along the way, they enter a remote mountain area and lose their way in a strange space. It is the entrance to Yokai no Kuni, where humans are forbidden to enter. Faced with the greatest crisis in the Nohara family's history in Yokai no Kuni, can Shinnosuke and the others return safely to the human world? A mysterious summer adventure begins when the Nohara family meets a lively group of yokai! [Bonus footage, approx. 7 min.] Clean ending, theme song special music video, movie teaser, trailer, TV spot, web spot, and Setting Materials Collection (still images). [Included bonus] An 8-page booklet.
