2025年12月5日に全国公開され、吉井和哉のドキュメンタリー映画「みらいのうた」のオリジナル・サウンドトラック・アルバム。本映画は、第38回東京国際映画祭に公式出品され、第35回日本映画批評家大賞にて「ドキュメンタリー賞」を授賞するなど、ドキュメンタリー映画として高く評価されており、4月27日よりU-NEXTにて独占配信がスタートしている。本アルバムは、劇中で描かれている、吉井和哉の音楽的ルーツ、苦悩と再生の軌跡を表現する「ドキュメンタリー歌集」として、映画本編で使用された重要な楽曲群に加え、ルーツとなるバンド時代の貴重な音源、影響を受けたアーティストの楽曲のカバー音源などを収録した映画の物語を追体験できる音楽版「みらいのうた」となっている。U-CONNECTカード封入。
