Iwaou [Limited Release]

Since their previous release, the worldwide popularity of MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS has accelerated even further. The three-piece band that is the pride of Japan has entered an extraordinary dimension, with more than 1.27 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of July 2026. Four years have passed since "Awakening: Sleeping". During that time they led tours around the world, across North America, Europe, and Asia, all to success, and greatly widened their scale as a band. This, their sixth work overall, is a self-produced album in which the solid inspiration gained over four turbulent years and the private changes in each member are beautifully blended together. While placing weight on lyrical delicacy, it contains six songs in all that are full of vitality and push straight ahead without end. On the production side, Yusuke Shinma (STUDIO REIMEI), an up-and-coming engineer, takes charge of recording and mixing, and Tsubasa Yamazaki (Flugel mastering), who worked on "No New World", takes part once again for the mastering. The visuals are handled by the manga artist Ai Kozaki, who has walked alongside them through all of their artwork so far. Having gained experience at home and abroad, the band has made this an ambitious work that pushes the strength of their self-production even higher. This limited release comes in digipak packaging.

Spotifyの月間リスナーが2026年7月現在127万人を超える、とんでもない次元に突入している日本が誇るスリーピースバンド、MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS! 前作『Awakening: Sleeping』から4年。その間、北米、欧州、アジアと世界を巡るツアーをすべて成功へと導き、バンドとしてのスケールを大きく広げてきた。通算6作目となる本作は、激動の4年間で得た確かなインスピレーションと、メンバーそれぞれのプライベートな変化が美しく溶け込んだセルフプロデュース作。叙情的な繊細さに重きを置きながら、どこまでも真っ直ぐに突き進む、生命力に満ちた全6曲を収録している。制作陣には、録音・ミックスに新進気鋭のエンジニア、Yusuke Shinma (STUDIO REIMEI)、マスタリングには『No New World』を手掛けた山崎翼 (Flugel mastering)が再び参加。ビジュアルは、これまで全アートワークを共に歩んできた漫画家・こざき亜衣が担当。国内外での経験を経て、セルフプロデュースによる強度をさらに高めた意欲作となっている。デジパック仕様。
