Description

[Machine Translation] Chaka Khan, who made his brilliant solo debut with the album "Chaka" in 1979 after leaving Rufus, finally releases for the first time in Japan a DVD of his superb live performance at the prestigious club <Roxy> in L.A. in 1981! The Brecker Brothers, Michael (ts) and Randy (tp), Steve Ferrone (ds), Anthony Jackson (b), and other top-notch session musicians backed up Chaka's vocal performance, which was at the peak of his powers. The Ave. White Band, featuring not only Fellone but also Hamish Stewart (g), performs "Happening in Love" and closes with "I'm Every Woman," a classic from their first album, in just over an hour, a must-see for soul/disco fans!
