fantastic reissue of one of my favorite doors records but then again the 5 studio records they put out from 1966 to 1970 are all great albums, as everyone knows this was the last doors opus that came out less then a year before jims death in paris in july 71, this cd set sports some of the best doors songs like love her madley, la woman, riders on the storm and my favorite THE WASP TEXAS RADIO, the two unearthed tracks like she smells so nice are good songs but i feel may have been touched up a bit for this release, anyway all the other bonus tracks are great as well, im hoping for the doors catlog to be re issued in shm mastering and released in cardboard replicas, this edition features the 1999 mastering so i will have to wait for them, anyway this is a fantastic release for now, if you are a doors fan you will love this killer release, the packaging is great and the sound is still superior to the us mastering, to bad jims voice was starting to get a bit rough on this album but for the songs on this classic the rough voice fits the songs great, ive been into this record for 35 years now and i never get tired of it, play loud and enjoy!!!!
