I always put this album last of Mark 2. Of course, the individual tracks are excellent, but it's not "In Rock". This edition won me over. Thanks to this edition, I finally heard all the nuances that the musicians put into this album, being in very difficult conditions of sound recording. This is a best sound of this album that I ever heard.

Timeless classic, an amazing sound and booklet full of info, pictures and lyrics.And bonus "When The Blind Man Cries" is just the icing on the cake.I have waited for something like that 37 years.If you consider yourself a vintage Deep Purple enthusiast, this one is mandatory.

I had buy this SACD when it released in europe, it's sound very analog but im little bit disapointed with the original Quadrophonic mix they put on it, but the stereo is as fine as the original LP, i hope they released the " BURN" album and the others live they do in SACD.

Highly recommended, superb sound, great impression, one of my ten top SACD. I only wish that more rock albums (quad recordings especially) would get this treatment on SACD,I hope "IN ROCK" is next.
