AB'S (+2) SACD Hybrid

[City Pop SACD Hybrid Series, Vol. 3] A masterpiece of City Pop that Warner takes pride in becomes an SACD Hybrid! The memorable 1st album, released in January 1983 by AB'S, an accomplished band representing Japan's city pop and AOR scene, arrives in the long-awaited SACD Hybrid format! This masterpiece was born when the elite of the music scene of the time, such as Makoto Matsushita, Yoshihiko Ando (PARACHUTE), Naoki Watanabe (SPECTRUM), and Atsuo Okamoto (SPECTRUM), who had taken part in Fujimaru Yoshino's solo album released the previous year, gathered and formed the band at Yoshino's invitation. In addition to "GIRL" and "DJANGO," which were cut as singles domestically, "DEJA VU" was released in the UK as a 12-inch single and scored a smash hit. This work also lavishly includes two bonus tracks, the precious "GIRL (Single Edit)" and "DJANGO (Single Version)." The audio was made into SACD based on a 2022 remaster at 96 kHz / 24-bit archived from the analog master. The finest sound is vividly revived at the highest quality.
