Dreams

[Machine Translation] Elephant Gym is a three-piece band from Taiwan that has toured extensively in Asia, Europe, and the United States, and is highly acclaimed worldwide. They are now one of the most influential indie bands in Asia, and will perform at Fuji Rock Festival '22 in Japan as well. Dreams" is their third full-length album in four years, and as the name suggests, it is based on the concept of "dreams. During the creation of this album, the band was exposed to many stories and researches related to dreams, and their inspiration is reflected in the songs. Through their music, the band attempts to reach deep into areas that people are not even aware of. The musicality of this work goes far beyond the framework of a three-piece band, and the "dream" worldview is created with a number of featured artists. The Japanese version of the album features the vocals of the band "chilldspot," whose members were all born in 2002, but who are already the talk of the town. In addition, the album features Taiwanese soul singer 9m88, who has attracted the most attention in recent years, and Hakka (ethnic) singer Lin Shengxiang, who is one of Taiwan's representative Hakka singers. The band's sound is not limited to the typical three-piece band sound, but also incorporates wind instruments and traditional ethnic instruments. With the most sophisticated sense of song composition in Asia, this album embodies a wide range of musical styles from jazz, indie rock, soul, film music, and more, transcending various genres and boundaries. Close your eyes and listen to the fantastic world of "Dream".
