伝説のコンビ"指原莉乃×福田雄一"が再び! 深夜ドラマながらも人気を博し、話題をさらった連続ドラマ『ミューズの鏡』。そんな『ミューズの鏡』が、皆さまのご要望に応えて、映画になって帰って来た! ドラマに続いて映画でも初主演を飾るのは指原莉乃。周りを固めるのは、ドラマのレギュラーメンバーたち。そしてもちろん、指原莉乃の魅力を最大限引き出してくれるのは福田雄一監督! ドラマと同じくらい面白くて、ドラマとは一味違う! ＜ストーリー＞このドラマは何も取り得がないように見える向田マキ (指原莉乃)が天才演出家・沖田竜 (池田成志)に見出され、成長し、覚醒していくという、超本格(?)ドラマである。向田マキは家が貧乏で、中華料理屋でバイトをして飢えをしのぐ日々。そんなマキは幼い頃から女優に憧れていた。ある日、出前に行ったスカイシアターで人気女優の彩吹うらら (平野綾)に出会い、女優になりたいという気持ちを抑えきれなくなったマキは、うららが所属する劇団ミューズを訪ねる。そこで天才演出家・沖田竜と出会い、沖田によって才能を見出され、女優として覚醒していくマキ。そんな時、劇団ミューズは新作『マイプリティドール』の公演を発表する。主役のドール役は当然うららが演じるものと思われたが、記者会見で沖田は衝撃の発表をする。「主役の座は、彩吹うららと向田マキで争ってもらう!」ドール役を決めるために、熾烈を極めるマキとうららの闘い。そして、うららを劇団ミューズから自分のプロダクションへ引き抜こうと画策していた三木翼 (マイケル富岡)も沖田と同じく、マキの才能に気が付いて動き出す! 果たして、ドール役を勝ち取るのは、マキなのか! うららなのか――!! マキは無事、才能を発揮し、大女優へと成長できるのか――!? ◆特典ディスク (DVD)には、「劇場版ミューズの鏡」ロングメイキング映像、大ヒット祈願豆まきイベント映像、初日舞台挨拶映像・全2回収録 (in新宿ピカデリー)、ヒット御礼・博多舞台挨拶映像 (in T-ジョイ博多)、劇場予告、TV版「ミューズの鏡」再編集ダイジェストを収録。
