Rainbow live in Germany 1976 world tour. 5

A 6 disc package covering 3 separate concerts in germany, namely cologne, dusseldorf, and nurnberg. Fantastic recording quality, with the same songs played over the 3 nights. But all 3 gigs include stargazer. Blackmore is in fine form and whilst the songs are repeated each night, his improvisations and solos do change. A must have for any purple or blackmore fan. Very nice packaging also.

A RB Fan Must Have 5

Yes, This CD has a set of six with the same songs, but if you are a Ritchie Blackmore Fan, you know he doesn't do his solos twice and always improvise. You'll enjoy different versions of the songs over and over.

Rainbow Germany 1976 5

I remeber well when Rainbow On Stage came out a very good live LP from Rainbow, must admit was a bit dissapointed because Stargazer wasn't on the album. Years later I found the Live in Europe CD with Stargazer wich is still my favourite CD of Rainbow I love it To Death (hey Cooper). And now this one a complete 3 days tour from Rainbow of 1976 I just can't wait to hear it have ordered it and today I am going to pick it up and going to listen to true Rock history. The best line-up IMHO from Rainbow Carry,Dio,Bain,Powell and Blackmore what could we ask for more. Great songs all the same but we all know Rainbow never played songs twice the same so I am heading for a real treat this weekend. Peace Strat58

It's not completely new or unreleased 3

Parts of all three concerts first appeared on the 1990 Connoisseur Collection album titled Rainbow - Live In Germany 1976. And there's a debate about the Nuremberg tape since Rainbow appeared in Munich on that date. Not that it really makes a difference. However, this is the first time all three shows have been released in there entirety. Is it worth the extra cost? It depends on how much of a hardcore fan you are.
