This is a movie you'll enjoy if you are a big fan of the character L. It really has nothing to do with the Death Note storyline, other than flashing back to parts of the first two movies. It has none of the intricate plot of the rest of Death Note - it's just a cute two hours of L being L. I saw this in the theatre so I can't speak to the DVD features, sorry.
