Now What?! [SHM-CD] [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]

this is a very good purple album considering I felt bannanas back in 03 and rapture of the deep back in 05 where a bit stail with nothing catchy about the songs, clearly quite obsurd and mtv where the best songs on rapture and they both where catchy but this new record 8 years on has a lot more to it I feel, this record is as good as the first two where with steve morse on guitar, its as good as purpandicular and abandon where, the catchy songs are back that kind of stick in your head, this album offeres quite a few great songs and I think it paid off that the guys took there time in the writing process for this album,, I just feel after 45 years we don't really need anymore new music by deep purple, when purple play live today they are still very good at playing newer songs from the past 20 years lets say BUT if you follow the audience they basically want to hear mark 2 stuff on the most part and we all know this line up will not play ANY mark 3 stuff as gillan wont do that, gillans voice sounds quite well here and morse is really on board full swing, I love don airey BUT nobody can replace jon lord, when jon retired 11 years ago the band has not quite been the same but they are still very good, I would recommend this cd to any purple fan who understands that purple had to go on without blackmore 20 years ago when he left the band, the only issue is now its 2013 and we are 20 years on since 1993 when Ritchie packed it in, back in 93 there was good and great reason to continue with new music, but in 2013 I think 18 great records is enough, for the years deep purple have left all they need to do is tour all there albums live until they cant anymore wich will probably be within the next 8 years im guessing, anyway this great edition from japan comes with a very nice dvd and a few cool bonus extras, good to see purple back ONE MORE TIME!!
