While I'm generally rabid about most of Cocco's offerings, I must admit that Onsoku Punch was a less than thrilling release. This single, however, very much makes up for it. "Hi no terinagara ameno furu" is upbeat and melodic (echoing the feeling well-portrayed by the cover photo), "Teno Naru ho e" is everything we've come to expect from Cocco's lyrical ballads, and even "Composition A," whose lyrics are a bit... odd, and whose background chanting is a little silly, still feels perfectly in line with Cocco's forays into her particular style of indy rock.
