An Insatiable Violence

[Machine Translation] The ninth album by the Montreal tyrant with the monster drummer Flo Maunier, whose insatiable violence lays waste to everything. CRYPTOPSY, a death metal band from Montreal, Canada, still overwhelming others with their overwhelming technique and ferocity even after 30 years since their debut. CRYPTOPSY has released its ninth original album in two years. After leaving Germany's Nuclear Blast with their last album "AS GOMORRAH BURNS" (2023), the band signed a new worldwide contract with French metal label Season of Mist, and this is their first album with the label. Most of the songs on this album were written during a tour with DEATH TO ALL, a group of musicians associated with DEATH, in May/June 2024. This was the first time for the band to do so, according to the former vocalist of CRYPTOPSY, who also wrote their third album WHISPER SUPREMACY ( 1998 ), .... Mike DiSalvo, who participated in the band's third album "WHISPER SUPREMACY" (1998) and "...AND THEN YOU'LL BEG" (2000), guested on this album. The artwork features paintings by Martin Lacroix, who was a vocalist in CRYPTOPSY in the early 2000s, participated in the live album "NONE SO LIVE," and visited Japan once before passing away last year in 2024.
