This album contains some great timeless hits. Unfortunately, many of the songs were originally recorded poorly with occassional distortion of voices, especially on some of the earlier songs. I've heard these problems even on original vinyl LP. But even with these recording problems the songs are worth a good listen. This edition is the best sounding of the CDs I've heard but don't expect the fine sound of a modern well recorded album. All that said though, I love these ladies along with other girl groups from the same period (such as The Ronettes, Orlons, Chiffons etc). Some of these songs would be part of the sound track for an era (early 60s).
