Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary -20th Century Best

To commemorate her 50th debut anniversary, Amii Ozaki releases her first best album personally selected by herself. Since debuting on March 20, 1976 with the single "Meiso", she has released 37 singles and 34 albums, while also creating numerous hit songs through songwriting and production for many other artists. As a pioneer female singer-songwriter who has led the Japanese pop music scene, Ozaki reaches the major milestone of her 50th anniversary in March 2026. Marking this occasion, a series titled "Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary" is released, including "Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary -20th Century Best" from Universal Music, focusing on twentieth-century songs from "Meiso" to "My Pure Lady" and "Haru no Yokaan - I've been mellow", and "Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary -21st Century Best" from Nippon Crown, featuring newly written song "Ashita no Koe", recent live staples, and collaborations, both released simultaneously on April 8. This release from Universal Music is a 2-disc SHM-CD best album featuring tracks selected by Amii Ozaki herself from songs released between her 1976 debut and the 1990s under Toshiba EMI, newly remastered and highlighting hidden gems that were never released as singles.

尾崎亜美 デビュー50周年を記念し初の本人選曲によるベスト盤をリリース! 1976年3月20日にシングル「冥想」でデビューしてからこれまでにシングル37作、アルバム34作をリリース。自身の作品のみならず数多くのアーティストへの楽曲提供とプロデュースを手掛けて幾多のヒット曲を生み出してきたシンガー・ソング・ライター尾崎亜美。女性シンガー・ソング・ライターの先駆けとして文字通り日本ポップス界をリードしてきた尾崎が、2026年の3月でデビュー50周年という大きな節目を迎える。その記念すべきタイミングで、過去の足跡をまとめた作品が相次いでリリースされることになった。『Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary』と冠されたこのシリーズでは、デビューシングル「冥想」から「マイ・ピュア・レディ」、「春の予感～I've been mellow」といった20世紀の楽曲を中心に組まれた『Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary ～20th Century Best』がユニバーサル ミュージックから、書き下ろしの新曲である「明日の声」を筆頭に、最近のライブの中心曲や、盟友ミュージシャンとのコラボ楽曲等で編成された『Amii Ozaki 50th Amii-versary ～21st Century Best』のベスト盤が日本クラウンからそれぞれ4月8日に同時発売される。またさらにポニーキャニオンからも映像作品の再発が予定されている。ユニバーサル ミュージックから発売する本作は1976年のデビューから1990年代までに東芝EMI (現ユニバーサル ミュージック)からリリースされた楽曲から、尾崎亜美本人がセレクトしたSHM-CD 2枚組ベスト盤となる。オリジナル・アルバムに収録されながらシングル・カットされなかった隠れた名曲にもフォーカスして、最新リマスタリング・サウンドで堪能できる作品となっている。
