Shin Tokyo [SHM-CD]

[Machine Translation] A voice that connects the distance that you want to go home but can't. Saya Asakura dares to remake her indie debut single from seven years ago, precisely because it is this time of social distance. Now that the importance of human connections is even more important than before, the hometown in everyone's heart emerges warmly in Asakura's voice, causing ripples of tears to spread. The warmth of "Tokyo", her indie debut single from seven years ago, was a big hit when it was released in 2013 and has become a staple of her live performances. This is a remake of that classic song in collaboration with Nobuo Kurata, one of Japan's leading pianists. Saya Asakura has surprised the world with her singing ability, which has twice made her the best min'yo singer in Japan, and with the creative power of her album "Kokon Uta Shu", which presents a new perspective on min'yo songs. This single showcases her talent as a singer-songwriter.
