Nico, who was active as a model in Europe, participated as vocalist. Andy Warhol, who created the famous banana artwork, also served as producer. (1967 release.) The gatefold "banana sticker" specification of the first U.S. LP edition and the original so-called "torso cover" are reproduced for this release. A Japan-exclusive project. A Japanese-pressed LP cut at Abbey Road Studios. Comes with an obi replicating the design of the first Japanese LP edition obi, liner notes, lyrics, and a Japanese translation.
