To commemorate the 60th anniversary of George Harrison's Beatles tour of Japan and the 35th anniversary of his Japan tour with Eric Clapton, his entire catalog of 13 titles, including two Traveling Wilburys albums, has been newly remastered. Released exclusively in Japan as SHM-CD with Type A double cardboard sleeve jacket packaging and newly written liner notes! George's ninth album, originally scheduled for release within 1980, though four songs were swapped out at the request of the record company, which wanted material with stronger hit potential. During that process, the single "All Those Years Ago," written in tribute to John Lennon after he was shot and killed, featured Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and became a major talking point. Released in 1981. Newly remastered for 2026 from 192kHz/24bit files freshly transferred from the UK original master tapes. SHM-CD.
