Description

[Machine Translation] [This is a sequel to the highly popular "JAZZ THE BEST" series, which carefully selected the best of the best from the "Universal Jazz" label, which combined the prestigious labels owned by Polydor, Mercury, and Universal Victor, and released 50 titles in one volume. The 50 titles are released all at once. Clear and sharp high quality sound is realized by rubidium cutting. Includes a renewed manual (with new liner notes). Recorded in New York City on August 4, 1952. Lester Young, who influenced Stan Getz and other tenor saxophonists who followed in his footsteps, gives a passionate performance backed by the Oscar Peterson Trio. Familiar songs such as "Tea for Two," "Stardust," and "On a Bright Front Street" are also featured on this album. Lester's rare vocal performance is also included.
