This album is the long-awaited second album by the duo, arriving four years after their previous release. While their previous album "NOT TiGHT" centered mainly on instrumentals, this album places vocals by DOMi and JD BECK front and center on nearly every track. With songs such as the glittering, glitch-filled "Exit," "Growing Older," which sets their own growth and the changing seasons to relaxed melodies and complex rhythms, and "Climbing High," a track with a J-pop-like feel and an overwhelming sense of uplift, the album lets listeners fully enjoy the songwriting they have displayed in collaborations with Silk Sonic and elsewhere. It is a work from another dimension, fusing the virtuosic technique that has become their trademark with catchy melodies that also connect with the mainstream. After releasing their previous album, DOMi & JD BECK toured around the world, generated excitement as ambassadors of Gen Z, and then suddenly disappeared. Their social media accounts were no longer updated, and their activities became unknown. During that time, however, they reportedly continued a regular lifestyle of "eight hours of sleep, eight hours of music, and eight hours of leisure" at their home studio in Dallas, Texas. The production period lasted more than two years, and the duo, who say they made this work "completely for ourselves, and in a pretty selfish way," commented on the album: "This time, we had a pretty clear idea of the album's direction even before we started making it. We wanted to make it like an orchestra. We wanted to write out every sound before playing it. The songwriting intent is stronger, but the performance and harmony sides are just as crazy. We wanted every sound to have meaning, and we wanted to leave zero parts to chance." Regarding the vocals, which were added 18 months into production, they said, "The human voice is probably the oldest instrument, and the most direct means of communication," suggesting that singing may have been a natural direction for them as they focused on pop songwriting.
