What can i say , SHM-CD sound is friggin' killer! Boy, Willie and the Poor Boys what an album.....John Fogerty is the man, he wrote some of the most classic Americana rock that has ever been written in the history of classic rock. Ah man, CCR was one of the greatest bands ever...believe it!!!! I love EVERY song on this album! Ed you said it right , this album is more relevant than ever even today. These CCR albums move my emotions more than any other band i can think of.....so much heartfelt emotion! And John Fogerty sings them with so much heart. What a performer!! Ha-ha!! Well anyways, grab this album if you can.....Mini LP replica is excellent on nice thick cardboard stock. Nice booklet included. My highest recommendations!!!!!

wow this was some record with my favorite ccr track fortunate sun but we also got cotton feilds here as well as the huge top 40 single down on the corner, when i was listening to this cd last week it was amazing to hear the lyrics to tracks like fortunate sun and with great sadness it was just dawning on me how much worst off the united states is in 2013 and how the lyrics to tracks like fortunate sun STILL APPLY SO MUCH TODAY AS IT DID BACK IN 1970 with the in equality that we suffer here from the 1% basically buying this whole country up from the poloticians who are just puppets and pawns for them and could care less about the avagrege american person or anyone else for that matter, its all about the money($$$$) when it comes to them, anyway this was a very political record as this was released during the height of the viatnam war in 1970 and how the upper class kids where able to hide out in universities all over the world ( think former us presidant bill clinton) and the poor and the working class young people where being drafted off to war like cattle, this record is actually scary becouse we seem to be re living that NOW IN 2013 here in the us. anyway this comes with a wonderful lp replica sleeve as per the original us lp and the shm remastering is awsome!!!! the jams and rocking out ccr do on this record are fabulous and if you liked the first 3 then this fourth is a MUST OWN!!!!!
