This is a real masterpiece of an album. I only have a couple of other mellencamp cds, but i bought this one as the idea of a mono album recorded in places such as sun studios was a bold move. The tracks are all sung with a real passion and you can tell the tracks recorded at sun studios by the unique sound. I love the songs SAVE SOME TIME TO DREAM and NO ONE CARES ABOUT ME. This cd has been getting much use at my house as there really is not a weak track on it. I think recording in mono really suits the matearial and the sound on this shm cd is fantastic. If they ever bring it out on an shm sacd i would buy it again for sure. This is an album which should be on any music lovers list.
