Description

[Machine Translation] [EAST WIND MASTERS COLLECTION 1000 Encore Press] Recommendation for Adult Jazz! The EAST WIND MASTERS COLLECTION 1000 Encore Press] Recommended for Adult Jazz! East Wind, Japan's world-class jazz label, started in 1975. This is a limited encore pressing of 72 titles for 1000 yen to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the label's founding. This is the second East Wind release of bebop pianist Al Haig, who made a comeback in the 1970s. This solo album features works and love songs by Duke Ellington and Charlie Parker. The piano, with its clear and delicate touch, spins beautiful phrases rich in naivete and nuance. [Recorded at Vanguard Studios, New York, May 6, 1976.
