Description

[Machine Translation] [In 2026, the 65th anniversary of impulse! and the 100th anniversary of John Coltrane's birth will be celebrated! To commemorate this anniversary, we are releasing an encore pressing of 14 of the most famous impulse! The label is also the focus of much attention for the "BLUE GIANT MOMENTUM" serialized in Big Comic. Marion Brown, one of the creative promoters of free jazz, also pursued lyricism in her playing. This album is a perfect fusion of these two sides of Marion Brown. Includes commentary. 24-bit remastering. [Marion Brown (as, wind chimes), Stanley Cowell, Anthony Davis (p, el-p), Bill Braynon (celeste, el-p), Harold Budd (celeste, gong), Reggie Workman (b), Ed Blackwell, Jimmy Hopps Blackwell, Jimmy Hopps (ds), Jose Goico (per), Allen Murphy (vo, bells) Recorded at Generation Sound Studios, New York, February 18 & 19, 1975
