Description

[Machine Translation] [The Art of Claudio Arrau] Claudio Arrau (1903-1991) was a Chilean pianist active mainly in the United States. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of his death, this is an encore pressing of the "The Art of Claudio Arrau" series released in 2011. Chopin was the composer with whom Arrau had the greatest rapport, and he left many recordings. In this collection of preludes and improvisations, Aarau delves deeply into the works without indulging in sentimentality, and gives us a brilliant performance filled with fresh emotions. This is a Japan-exclusive project. Recordings: April 1973 in Holland ( 1-3 ), August 1980 in Switzerland ( 4-7 )
