Onitsuka's debut album still remains in my memory as one of the most solid in her career. It's full of raw emotion, conveyed powerfully by her voice. Her voice isn't one of my favorites, but the way she expresses herself with it is just mesmerizing. Most songs are on the slow side, somewhere between power ballad and ode. A great pickup, recommended for everyone.

I really enjoy this album by Chihiro it's so powerful and nice to listen to and you will fall in love with Chihiro and her sound.

A really good cd with alot of beautiful songs, chihiro has a beautiful voice too, a must have if you like ballads.

Great jazz-rock album from Chihiro. First time I listened it all days again and again so perfect it is. Beautiful ballads and power fast songs. This is debut and at my opinion the best Chihiro's album. If you never listen her songs, this album is the one to start from.

Chihiro Onitsuka has an amazing voice. All of the songs on this album feature haunting melodies and expert musicianship. Almost every song is a ballad, so if you're expecting music to dance to, you'll have to listen to Innocence over and over again. But don't let the ballad issue scare you away. Each song is so expertly crafted and performed that the listener is swept away by the torrent of emotion that issues forth from each verse. I don't use the word beautiful to describe music often, except perhaps for some classical symphonies. But there really isn't a better way to describe the magic on this disc. It's simply beautiful.

This was an impressive debut album with a lot of artistic guts. The songs are lyrically beautiful and sweeping. Stand out tracks are definitely "Gekko", "Back Door", and "Memai". She my favorite music discovery this year.

Chihiro Onitsuka is one of my favorite singers of all times. She doesn't have a flawless voice, but her voice, which is almost haunting and mysterious at times, is so powerful and so emotional it keeps her listeners on the edge of their seats longing for more. There's never a dull moment when listening to Chihiro Onitsuka's music. This is a CD that everyone should own.
