THIS CLASSIC WAS RELEASED IN AUGUST 1980 JUST AS THE BAND WHERE PLAYING THE MONSTERS OF ROCK FESTIVAL THAT YEAR WITH RAINBOW, JUDAS PRIEST, THE SCORPIONS AND TOUCH, wheels of steel was released in april of 80 strong arm in august, strong arm of the law was produced by peter hinton so this did not have as raw of a sound as wheels did but this was the record that brought saxon up to the top at this point and sent them to the us for a brief tour, my favorite songs on here where always taking your chances, to hell and back again and hungry years but then again 20,000 feet and the rest of the album you just cant argue with, this was the nwobhm at its finest and along with maiden and leppard saxon where flying the flag at this point, great shm mastering and great mini replica lp sleeve and the bonus tracks are awsome.....
