NHK開局80周年記念企画 "Crossover Eleven" (ロック編): コンピレーション・アルバム!! 1978年11月から2001年3月まで20数年にわたり、多数の音楽ファンを魅了し、愛され続けてきたNHK-FM名番組「クロスオーバーイレブン」がCDで復活!! フォーマットは当時の番組そのままに、ナレーターはもちろん津嘉山正種(つかやままさたね)。オリジナル・スクリプトそしてこのCDの為にナレーションを録音。選曲は同番組開始時から選曲に携わってきた大伴良則氏。ゲイリー・ニューマン、コクトー・ツインズ、T.REX、ゾンビーズなど、同番組で何度も使用した楽曲は勿論のこと、ブラックメイル、グレゴリアン等の楽曲を収録。
