Kimi ni Kofuku wo Sentimental Boy

[Machine Translation] [Toho DVD Masterpiece Selection] Six coming-of-age films by Yoko Naito, the original idol "Eternal Beauty" and Wakako Sakai, the "Eternal Purity" that brightly colored the screen in the 1960s are being released! The actors, including Kazuo Funaki, Yuzo Kayama, and Toshio Kurosawa, are also full of charm. Shiro (Kazuo Funaki), who moved to Tokyo from Noto, is an apprentice baker at a cake shop. He begins dating a college student, Juki (Naito Yoko), whom he met by chance, lying to her that he is also a college student. He becomes friends with Juki's uncle Momoo (Yoshifumi Tajima), who is taking care of Juki, because of the Wakura drums in their hometown. However, Shiro's conscience is troubled and he confesses to Juki that he is a fake student... This film co-stars Kazuo Funaki and Yoko Naito, following "Sono Hito Wa Mukashi" (The Man I Used to Be). When the film was released, it was called "Martyrdom Combination" by Kazuo Funaki, a prince of the music world, and Yoko Naito, a young idol. Kazuo Funaki sang four new songs, including the theme song "Sentimental Boy" and "The Girl Who Likes Sweets," which became a topic of conversation.
