A full-scale social mystery of grief in which the truth hidden behind it closes in on the heart. - In 1996, Katsuhiro Togawa, an instructor who runs a cram school in Yokohama, is murdered. Gen Akutsu (Yojiro Noda), a former student of the victim who has a mild mental disorder, emerges as a suspect in the investigation, but even now, two years after the incident, his whereabouts remain unknown. As the investigation is scaled down, sidelined detective Shotaro Taira (Hidetaka Yoshioka), under orders from section chief Isao Izutsu, reinvestigates the Togawa murder together with young detective Keigo Oya (Mahiro Takasugi). Why is Togawa, a man of character without a single bad rumor, murdered? People connected to the cram school who know Togawa, the suspect Akutsu's mother, ex-wife, and acquaintances... Taira and the others continue their interviews day after day, but the mystery only deepens. Meanwhile, when people who seem unrelated, including Toyoko Nagao (Kumi Takiuchi), Akutsu's classmate who ends up sheltering the murder suspect, and elementary school student Haru Hashimoto, who meets Akutsu through "a certain trigger," begin to move around Akutsu, the fugitive suspect, the points that seemed scattered begin to connect and eventually lead to an unexpected development. All five episodes are included.
