Usually, Nagi is cheerful, but the sight of her alcoholic father, Shimao, who is violent toward her mother, traumatizes her, and she sometimes falls ill with hyperventilation. The residents of the island, who know everything about Nagi's situation, accept her warmly without saying a word. They are Raita and Kengo, Nagi's classmates at elementary school, Mizuki, her homeroom teacher, Yamamura, the janitor, and Kohei, a fisherman. They are also living positively with their own problems. Nagi, who knows their problems, also struggles to support them, and step by step, they regain their smiles. However, the peaceful days on the island did not last that long.
