Description

[Machine Translation] Laramie, Wyoming, USA, late 1860s. Slim, who runs a stagecoach stop on his father's ranch; Jess, a lone gunfighter who has washed ashore; Mike, a boy whose parents were killed by the Indians; and Aunt Daisy, a widow...all these people's lives cross paths at the ranch, a stop on the transcontinental route. A western masterpiece of friendship and justice! In the early 1960s, as soon as the film was broadcast in Japan, it was well received and maintained high viewer ratings thanks to the sweet mask of Robert Fuller, who played Jess, and Yasuo Hisamatsu, who was in charge of dubbing, as well as the "belanme-esque" Japanese dialogue and the theme song, "Kusa wa ao kuyuu yama no fugato~" (The grass is green and the mountains are far away), by Duke Aces. This legendary western, which has been on the air for 50 years, is now available on DVD!
