Description

[Machine Translation] An omnibus of performances by five popular big bands from the late 1930s through the 1940s, during the heyday of swing, this collection is a joy to witness live footage from 70 years ago. In particular, Bunny Berrigan, the immortal white trumpeter, is featured in what is probably the only performance of the band that includes his vocals. In addition, this DVD is a must-have for jazz fans, including live footage of Aina Raye Hutton leading an all-female big band that dances and conducts all over the stage. 2004 U.S. production.
