"Puyo Puyo", which was born in 1991, marks its 35th anniversary in 2026, and the commemorative CD "Puyo Puyo - 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Album -" goes on sale. It is delivered as a 2-CD set that lets you experience in music the appeal of the joyous "rensa" chains, compiled by Eiki Abe, sound director of the "Puyo Puyo" series. First, Disc-1 is titled Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Non-Stop and delivers a torrent of 54 tracks, presenting the celebrated songs that have graced the Sega versions of the series in a 3-part structure of Historically Arranged Non-Stop, Poppin' Puzzle FUN Non-Stop and Puyo Puyo Boss Rush! Non-Stop. Disc-2 follows as Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Selection, which contains a Vocal Version section by the character cast, including Arle (voiced by Mie Sonozaki), Ringo (voiced by Asami Imai), Sig (voiced by Yuriko Fuchizaki), Klug (voiced by Mie Sonozaki), Yu and Rei (voiced by Tamaki Nakanishi), Amitie (voiced by Shiho Kikuchi), Popoi (voiced by Miwa Kozuki), Maguro (voiced by Yuki Ishikari), Ally (voiced by Honoka Inoue) and Atari (voiced by Saran Tajima), while a First CD Release Title Selection section carries songs from "Puyo Puyo!! Touch" and "Puyo Puyo!! Quest" that appear on CD for the first time. It further offers 32 carefully chosen tracks in a 3-part structure that includes a Bonus Track section with rare arranged songs featured in other games and "Punitto Puyo Puyo", the Puyo Puyo 35th anniversary collaboration song by Punipuni Denki x Puyo Puyo.
