Description

[Machine Translation] This is a full-fledged jazz album by Clemontine that will bring a cool breeze in the summer. This time, the arrangements are entirely handled by master arranger Rob Pronk, the last big name in the European jazz scene who worked with Stefan Grappelli, Marlene Dietrich, Dinah Shore, and others. Under the supervision of Henri Renaud, who has supported Clemontine since his debut, the album was recorded in his home city of Amsterdam with a big band of the best Dutch jazz musicians. The title track, "Lil' Darlin'" is a cover of the Count Basie classic with French lyrics by Henri Salvador, who has a strong following among jazz fans and the cafe/lounge scene. Marcos Valli's classic "So Nice (Summer Samba)" is also included, and the bossa nova flavor that has become a staple is still present.
