The Clearing

"The Clearing" is the fourth album from Wolf Alice, one of the UK's leading alternative rock bands and winner of numerous honors including a BRIT Award and the Mercury Prize, arriving about four years after the band's previous album. Marking the beginning of "Wolf Alice Chapter Two," the album was made with Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin and features a sound firmly rooted in the present while drawing on the essence of 1970s classic pop and rock. Its pared-back yet powerful melodies and varied, vivid songs can even evoke the illusion of Fleetwood Mac creating a new album in modern-day London. With themes of the calm and clarity found beyond life's chaos, the album symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter for the band. Commemorating Wolf Alice's visit to Japan in November, this Japanese edition adds previously released B-sides as bonus tracks and features alternate cover art and a booklet different from the original edition.
