im a fan of the jimi hendrix experience and the three amazing records they did between 1966 and 1968, the band of gypsies was really great to but those first three records jimi did w / noel and mitch where just phenomenal, on this disc we get a lot of post 1968 hendrix as most of these songs where recorded during 1969 and 1970, there is a lot of great stuff here that eddie went back and polished up and i am suprised it took almost 50 years to get these songs out, especially songs like lover man, mannish boy and $20 fine, the rest of these tracks are great as well but this all was recorded during jimis transaition from the experience to the band of gypsies, regardless any hendrix fan will love these songs.....
