THE FAITH TOUR [Blu-spec CD2] [2CD + Blu-ray Audio / Limited Release]

This release vacuum-packs in full the dazzling moment of May 1988 when George stood at the very top of the scene! It contains the Paris show from "THE FAITH TOUR". (In July of the same year Michael Jackson held his legendary London shows on the BAD tour. These two runs are regarded as the highest point reached in the pop scene of 1988.) The footage was shot on 35mm film over two nights with 14 cameras, and after being missing for a long time it was found and has now been newly restored and remastered for this theatrical release. As the film "GEORGE MICHAEL: THE FAITH TOUR", it is scheduled to open in September 2026 in theaters around the world including IMAX screens (subject to change), with the Japanese release and the distributor still being arranged. At the same time as the theatrical release, the audio is being made available for the first time as an unreleased 18-song live album. This release contains all 18 unreleased live recordings made during the world tour of the same name, covering everything from George's solo works to his songs from the Wham! era. In his home country it is released in separate formats as a 2CD set, a Blu-ray Audio disc containing 5.1ch surround sound, and a vinyl record, but the Japanese edition is specially released as a 3-disc set (2CD + Blu-ray Audio)! 2CD (Blu-Spec CD2) plus Blu-ray Audio, cross-shaped six-panel soft pack packaging, and a Japanese booklet (commentary, lyrics, and Japanese translations). *Since this product goes on sale on a Friday, delivery will be on or after the release date.
