To be honest , i've never owned this album before. I've heard it before but never owned it. But , i really think in my opinion that this sounds terrific on the new Blu-Spec CD2. Nice and smooth , nice detail and warmth. You can crank it up and really enjoy it. I'm glad i snagged this , the Michael Bloomfield and Al Kooper Super Session is a classic. Just ask any old-school cat. If you're a guitar player and don't know about Michael Bloomfield , you need to pick up this album. He was real guitar player , get's that Les Paul screamin' with just enough breakup on "Albert's Shuffle"! And Al Kooper is one polished and professional keyboard player....one of the greats. They jam great together. Enjoy!
