Mozart: Posthornserenade & Beethoven: Symphony No.4 [SACD]

[Machine Translation] [The master's persistence resulted in a masterful performance of "post-horn" music. This is a live recording of the entire performance of the subscription concert of the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg in April 2001, which was described as "a great success" by the master himself. The live recording of the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra's subscription concert in Hamburg in April 2001 was hastily released in response to Vant's own wish to release it to commemorate his 90th birthday. Posthorn," with its consistently graceful and prestigious sound, is a favorite piece of Vant's that he has performed for many years, and this is his first re-recording in 40 years since his LP recording with the Gurzenich Orchestra. This is Vant's third recording of Beethoven's Fourth, and his interpretation is an ideal reproduction of the piece, maintaining the weight of a concert-closing piece while never losing its suppleness.
