The band's raw sound, including the vibrations of the amplifiers and the air pressure of the drums, is recorded. The songs, which exude humor, loneliness, a sense of life, and a "tenderness" that differs from quietness, show a variety of expressions, from straight rock numbers, funk numbers, and catchy pop tunes, to lingering and sad songs, with flute and keyboard playing as well. Softero is now officially a three-piece group. The music, which has been produced as a solo project led by Kyosuke Ishikawa (Vo,Gt), has shifted its focus to a band sound with Masaki Hathaway (Ba) and Natsuki Yabe (Dr) in the trio at the core. During a 3-day/2-night training camp in Hakuba, Nagano, they recorded mainly one-shot recordings in the same space. The band's priority was not efficiency or editing accuracy, but rather the atmosphere, physicality, and tension of the sound in the same room. All members are in their 40s. Amidst child-rearing and life changes, there is a sense that their own time and contours are slowly fading away. Still, there is something that can only be confirmed by gathering in the same place with others and making sounds. The sound has a gentleness and receptiveness that is different from quiet healing, because it was made in the midst of daily life. 何気ない日常の切実さをすくい上げ、やさしさとユーモアが滲む。白馬合宿の一発録りで刻まれた、空気ごと鳴る生々しいトリオサウンドが、今ここに息づく日本語ロック。ポップネスと脱力感を併せ持った歌声で、何気ない日常の中にある切実さをすくい上げるソフテロの日本語ロック。本作では正式にトリオ体制へ移行し、長野・白馬での合宿レコーディングにて一発録りを中心に制作。アンプの振動やドラムの空気圧まで含めた、生々しいバンドサウンドが記録されている。ユーモア、寂しさ、生活感、そして静けさとは異なる"やさしさ"が滲む楽曲群は、ストレートなロックナンバーからファンクナンバー、キャッチーなポップチューン、余韻や切なさを帯びた楽曲まで、フルートや鍵盤も交えながら多彩な表情を見せる。ソフテロは本作より正式に3人組となる。これまで石川亨輔 (Vo,Gt)を中心にソロプロジェクト的に制作されてきた音楽は、マサキ・ハサウェイ (Ba)、やべなつき (Dr)とのトリオを核にしたバンドサウンドへと重心を移した。長野・白馬での2泊3日の合宿では、同じ空間での一発録りを中心にレコーディングを実施。脱DTM/脱宅録を掲げ、効率や編集精度よりも、同じ部屋で鳴る音の空気、身体性、緊張感を優先した。メンバーは全員40代。子育てや生活の変化の中で、自分の時間や輪郭が少しずつ薄れていく感覚がある。それでも、誰かと同じ場所に集まり、音を鳴らすことでしか確かめられないものがある。その音には、静かな癒しとは違う、生活の中で鳴らされたからこそのやさしさと包容力がある。本作は、そうした実体のある繋がりを音で取り戻すために制作されたバンド作品である。紙ジャケット仕様。ブックレット封入。
